Michael Chekhov

Michael Chekhov (1891-1955) was a nephew of the great Russian playwright Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) and student of Constantin Stanislavski (1863-1938) and his realistic system of acting. Michael Chekhov soon developed his own set of acting techniques in America with his students including Clint Eastwood, Marilyn Monroe, Gregory Peck, Ingrid Bergman and Yul Brynner to name just a few. – Justin Cash
